Continuing its community programme in conjunction with local education centres, Klarius Products Ltd has recently welcomed two students from The JCB Academy, providing them with a taste of what it’s like to work at the UK’s largest manufacturer of aftermarket exhausts. The two budding professionals gained experience working in the Klarius technical centre and as part of the product marketing team.
The JCB Academy was founded in 2010 and is sponsored by JCB. Alongside JCB, other businesses including Bentley Motors, Toyota and Rolls-Royce develop a unique curriculum for the students. Focusing on 13 to 18-year olds, the academy offers a curriculum tailored to students with an interest in engineering and business. With both Klarius and The JCB Academy situated in Staffordshire, Klarius offers students the chance to gain vital experiences and guidance in preparation for entering the world of engineering.

We aim to contribute to the skills base and success of the local area; in the same way we support customers and end users with our Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) accredited training courses.

Klarius Products designs, manufactures and tests all its exhausts, catalytic converters (CATs), diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and accessories at its headquarters in Cheadle, Staffordshire. The business is a Northern Automotive Alliance (NAA) 2018 International Trade Award and a NAA 2017 Company of the Year Award winner. Klarius is a fully accredited IMI training centre, delivering courses that educate regarding the technology, fault diagnosis maintenance and legislation around exhausts.
