With this in-house expertise and capability, it made sense for the business to join the Klarius Exhausts-Direct approved emissions centre scheme to take advantage of the widest range of standard exhausts on the market.
John Taylor, the joint Owner of A44 Exhaust Centre with his brother David, explains: “We can trace our business roots in the area back 250 years, so providing quality to our customers is an absolute must. We hold a good opinion of Klarius exhausts, we never have an issue with orders, the quality is good and deliveries always arrive when needed. When we heard that Klarius was launching an approved garage scheme, we felt it was something we’d like to be involved in.”
The Klarius Accreditation Scheme focusses on independent garages who offer outstanding service, products and facilities to their customers. Each accredited member is independently assessed for quality, before being added to Exhausts-Direct.net as part of the approved garage directory. The site offers an easy portal for motorists to select a quality exhaust in their local area with minimum fuss.
Members are also entitled to receive IMI accredited Klarius emissions training, which covers the advanced function, legislation, technology and failure modes surrounding exhausts, catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters and additive systems.
John continues: “We met the team at Klarius, and applied to join the scheme. As accomplished custom exhaust manufacturers ourselves, we were already up to speed with a lot of the issues currently surrounding emissions components, so we wanted to team-up with a brand that wants to educate the market. Since joining the directory we have had a number of direct enquiries from it, so there has definitely been a benefit there.”
